Bora Bora Honeymoon in January

I am planning my honeymoon in Bora Bora in January 2015, for approximately 5 days away. Is it a good time to come along and enjoy the beautiful scenic environment without any hassles?

Bora Bora is a honeymoon paradise. What I will say about January is it is during the wet season. The weather will be warmer and more humid during the summer wet season. So you are more likely to encounter rain. Here we go into detail about what to expect in Bora Bora during the rainy season.

Is 5 days your total time away? or will you have 5 days on Bora Bora with extra days on either side to get there? The more days you have there the more chance you'll have some perfect weather.

Bora Bora is beautiful during rain or sunshine, but we certainly want you to have the chance to see it at it's most glamorous with the sun shining.

Personally I like the wet season because I enjoy the extra warmth in the lagoon water and the 'kissing your skin' feeling in the air. The flowers are blooming at this time of year and the island is lush with green.
