Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts

It could be argued that Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts has the most superb location in Bora Bora's lagoon. But who would want to argue with this panorama to look at! Le Bora Bora is blessed with mesmerizing Mt Otemanu views and the most beautiful natural white-sand beach. Many of the resorts in Bora Bora have had help to create their beaches. But not this beach.

Another aspect that differentiates this gorgeous Bora Bora resort is the 4-star rating. This makes it possible to stay in the most incredible location with a kinder price tag. You can use that to justify staying longer! At Le Bora Bora you won’t be chauffeured around in golf carts or ride bikes across lagoon bridges. But if you enjoy tropical gardens and lagoon-side strolls you won't miss those extras.

Hint: If you do want to be chauffeured around, consider a stay at The Four Seasons Bora Bora, Conrad Bora Bora, Intercontinental Thalasso or St Regis Resort. Or if you like the idea of adventuring around on a bike you will want to book St Regis Resort or Conrad Nui Bora Bora.

Accomodation options at Le Bora Bora

The hardest decision at Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts is whether to stay in an overwater bungalow or a private garden oasis. If you are seeking privacy, you will adore the garden bungalows which offer a secret Tahitian garden with a shade arbor and pool. If you want to be closer to the lagoon, a beach bungalow offers the advantages of the garden bungalow but with direct access and views to the beach. If you are after that rockstar feel, the glamorous 2020 makeover of Le Bora Bora's overwater bungalows will make them your preferred choice.

Le Bora Bora beach & pool

Le Bora Bora resort is a sun-lover’s paradise. The long natural beach offers shallow, calm water that is perfect for frolicking in with your kids or your lover. There's a coral garden nursery near the over water bungalows which you can easily snorkel to from the beach or your over water bungalow.

Le Bora Bora's pool is one of the largest in Bora Bora. Since the renovations it now offers the cool-down of a swim up bar. The pool is never busy, and there is always a sun lounger or nearby table free, but a seat right at the bar can be hard to come by during the fun of happy hour.

Dining at Le Bora Bora

Dining venues at Le Bora Bora all offer views of the beach, pool or mountain. So, every meal is enjoyed with the feeling that you are truly in Bora Bora. Dining options range from casual, feet-in-the sand options through to an adults-only restaurant for a luxurious dining experience.

We found it hard to leave the beach or pool area, so we loved being able to order food from the bar and have it delivered to our waterside location.

The Polynesian night at Le Bora Bora offers a grand feast with both Tahitian and French specialties and includes a spectacular, fast-paced, Tahitian dancing show. The Polynesian dancing performance includes lots of audience participation. You can look forward to a giggle when a few vacationers are invited to take a turn shaking their hips.

Is Le Bora Bora the resort for you?

If you answer yes to any of the following points, then Le Bora Bora is a great choice for your Bora Bora vacation:

  1. You want the best-value-for-money Bora Bora resort
  2. You want that jaw-dropping Bora Bora island view of Mt Otemanu
  3. You're happy to walk everywhere around the resort grounds
  4. You are traveling with family, friends or a large group
  5. You love the beach and want your vacation to be centered around it
  6. You want a private pool or secluded bungalow

Why we love this resort

beach le bora bora heart in sand
  • Le Bora Bora is a great price point for those seeking an Otemanu-view Bora Bora resort vacation. We consider Le Bora Bora one of the 3 best hotels in Bora Bora.
  • The room options are dreamy: private Tahitian garden hideaways, beach bungalows or glitzy Bora Bora over water bungalows.
  • Le Bora Bora is a great hotel for families and groups. If you are traveling with children or extended family, you won't feel out of place here (which we did a little at some other 'couples' resorts). There’s likely to be other families staying and your kids might even make some friends to play with.
  • The beach here is the best in Bora Bora. It has soft, white sand without hard coral pieces and a dramatic, Mt Otemanu view.
  • While the resort is group and family friendly, there are opportunities for those wanting romance to feel like they are in secluded paradise.
  • We loved the convenience of the complimentary mini bar refills. A cool drink and snack available right by our private pool was priceless.

Want romance at this resort?

  • Book a private dinner on the beach
  • Have breakfast delivered to your over water bungalow
  • Reserve a table at the adults-only restaurant
  • Stay in an OWB on an outer pontoon location for more privacy or choose an on-land villa for the most seclusion.
